The Oslo region is the largest urban area in Norway. The region can show several examples on cooperation between several actors developing climate neutral urban areas with green buildings and solutions. Public procurement together with private companies make the large ambitions possible.

Green buildings tours
Tour 1: Zero emission neighbourhoods
To support climate friendly urban development the municipalities in the western part of the Oslo region – Oslo, Bærum, Asker and Drammen – have launched FutureBuilt in cooperation with a range of other partners. Their vision is to show that climate neutral urban areas, based on high quality architecture, are possible. On this tour you will learn about:

Tour 2: Green buildings
Visit new or renovated green buildings in the region and see how they meet the strongest requirements on energy use, produce energy for own consumption and fuel production for clean transport. Learn about how real estate companies, engineering and architectures, materials manufacturers and environmental specialists cooperate. On this tour you will learn about:

- Zero emission construction sites
- Energy production and and distribution in sustainable city development
